And How WE Will Burn

This blogger is currently reading The Gulag Archipelago by Alexander Solzhenitsyn, abridged version.  New masthead above is from Chapter 14 of Part III.  It seems impossible that anyone could read this thing continuously, without stepping away for a breath or two, and not go bleeding out your eyeballs mad.

And it's not like I was completely oblivious to the Soviet Gulags.  I thought I knew.  Solzhenitsyn hits the reader in gut with detailed reality on every page, and there's no such thing as comic relief anywhere therein.  Unflinching observation of stark brutality in the harshest light.

An ideology eclipsed the essence of God-fearing humanity, and tens of millions of humans were exterminated.  That same ideology manifested itself in Mao's China, the Khmer Rouge's Cambodia, Castro's Cuba, and North Korea, most notably.  All, not coincidentally, persisting in the same tactics of persuasion by incarceration, starvation, and death.

How unlikely, then, is it that our own metastasizing infestation of Cultural Marxism in Europe and here in America, does not feel comfortable with the same tactics?  That is, is there any reason to think our elite Yankee "betters" in New England and the left coast could be that evil?  They don't consider those of us in the hinterlands and flyover country deplorable, do they?  The Cultural Marxists in the media and academia have not yet resorted to labeling each and every dissenting opinion as "hate speech", have they?  They haven't yet dug in, tighter than ticks, to bureaucratic roles in the respective state and federal machinery, have they?

What if "they", these evolved descendants of Marxism and Communism, already control the levers of authority?  Are they not capable of herding their opposition onto those Ships of the Archipelago, torturing, starving, and killing them?  What if they decided they didn't even need to imprison them, but just starve & poison them?

What if they already are?

What if they already are?

Burning on your camp yet, comrades?
