Bittersweet

There are three people in this world for whom I'd do anything.  For one of them, I already swallowed every ounce of pride.  How long's that been, seven years?  She just walked by my home, and didn't look until I spoke.  Then, she came and gave me a hug.

Christmas.

If You Need A Leader...(UPDATED)

Get one that will tell you the truth, fearlessly.  Mr. Geert Wilders reacts to his "conviction" for hate speech.

UPDATE: I wouldn't normally update a post this old, but I just came across Mr. Wilders' name in some #PizzaGate material linked by Herschel Smith (The Captain's Journal).  The link is to the transcription of a video he posts which includes an eyewitness accusing Geert Wilders (among many other notable Dutch politicians, officials, and media persons) of being present at a ceremony where children were raped, tortured, and later killed.

A portion of that transcript:

“My name is Anne Marie van Blijenburgh. I have been married for twenty four years to Kees van Korlaar. Together with his three brothers, Kees van Korlaar formed a criminal organization known as the Octopus Syndicate (The Octopus Syndicate is a Holland slang term for Ndrangheta, the modern Italian-based mafia connected to the Vatican).

“By order of Dutch Queen Beatrix the criminals (or Ndrangheta Mafia) have worked from 1960 through today organizing the murder, torture and rape of children in Netherlands youth detention centers. Through the Dutch Court, the youth detention centers were asked for children who could work for Dutch Queen Beatrix. They gladly volunteered the files of certain children. If they wanted to verify what the criminals told them they were given a name and phone number of a high ranking officer in Queen Beatrix’s Court. That high ranking officer would tell them that indeed the criminals were seeking children to work for a certain period at the Dutch Court."

[...]

“Beside the hotel was a building where the performance (a Satanic Child Sacrifice murder ritual) took place. In that building there were people sitting down. At a certain moment the child was brought into that building by the criminals, was tortured, raped and brutally murdered in front of those people."

Here's the link to Herschel's blogpost.

And here's the link to the transcription at VOAT.

Thinking out loud, I wonder if Ann Marie von Blijenburgh is related to the actor that was apprehended "attempting to investigate" Comet Ping Pong.  False flag troll, perhaps?

The Kind That You Buy At A Second-Hand Store

I had a disky or cassette tape with this song on it that was called, I believe, Do Me Baby...Austin Does Prince.  Several packings and movings and unpackings later, it's now long gone.

But, did ya know that the Derailers are playing every Thursday night at the Broken Spoke?

Let's just go.

Pizzagate Poll

Notice please on the sidebar, I've posted a poll to see what folks think about the #pizzagate scandal.  If you haven't yet heard about it, please check out a few of the videos, posts, and links I have on the issue below.

Whether you voted or not, consider the comment section for this post as your place to voice an opinion on the scandal, whether it's a tinfoil hat conspiracy, or particularly if you have some insight into the symbolism or codes.  Or, even if you have some background info that somehow exonerates the Podestas, Alefantis, the Clintons, et al.

Anonymous voting and commenting are allowed, unless and until I get overwhelmed with trolls and spam.

Pizzagate: 3 New Videos

If you believe that pedophiles use code words like "cheese pizza" to mean child pornography, as I do, then it isn't hard to believe that's the purpose of the dialog emanating from Alefantis' Comet Ping Pong and his nearby Bucks Camping store.

Here are three new videos.  First, a discussion of those code words (H/T Brittany Pettibone gab.ai):

Second, via Skip the Free Rifleman's twitter, dialog regarding some "not yet dead" pizzas and a warning (just like Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut) about consequences for not obeying satanic ritual rules for those unwilling to dispose of pizzas.

And third, video of basement/tunnels below the aforementioned establishments that claim to not have basements or tunnels (via Herschel Smith, who's been all over it):

It's admittedly difficult for decent people to believe this kind of thing can even exist.  You can avert your eyes, but don't stick your head in the sand.

I Say Merry Christmas

And, I'm going to resolve to begin saying it every last Thursday in November, to replace the State holiday that the scoundrel Abe Lincoln dedicated.

It's been too long since I posted a video by Mr. Prager...

Merry Christmas, y'all.

Make Your Own List, Too

Via @MattBracken48 twitter, and from the pen of Humberto Fontova (born in Havana) comes this handy list to help refute any glorification of recently-excused-to-eternal-torment mass-murdering communist Fidel Castro.

A sample-

On Christmas Eve 1961, Juana Diaz Figueroa spat in the face of the Castroite executioners who were binding and gagging her. They’d found her guilty of feeding and hiding “bandits.” (Castro and Che’s term for Cuban peasants who took up arms to fight their theft of their land to create Stalinist kolkhozes.) Farm collectivization was no more voluntary in Cuba than in the Ukraine. And Cuba’s kulaks had guns–at first anyway. Then the Kennedy-Khrushchev pact left them defenseless against Soviet tanks, helicopters and flame-throwers. When the blast from Castro’s firing squad demolished Juana Diaz’ face and torso, she was six months pregnant.

Consider starting a list of the Castroites in your own neighborhood: those who will freely point you out as "bandits" when the trouble starts.  And, if you think that the recent election has thwarted the potential for trouble, you're painfully naive.  Twenty days remain until the Electoral College makes it official.  Fifty-two days until inauguration.  Don't discount the teeth-gnashing and hair-afire wailing currently in abundance, everywhere you look.  The ratchet of totalitarianism was so close to clicking past the point of no return, given the presumed ascendance of St. Cankles, that the collectivists could taste the victory.  It would be just plain idiotic for Freefor to rest easy.

And even if we make it to Jan. 20th without widespread civil unrest, the world's economy is an inverted city of Atlantis balancing precariously on the head of a pin.  What cannot continue, will...not...continue.  There is at least going to be a correction.  And it almost certainly ain't gonna be pleasant.

Worth repeating from the above clip, "And Cuba's kulaks had guns-at first anyway."

Also, regarding that list of local Castroites, they need not be sporting Che tee-shirts or flying a Cuban flag in memorandum; it could be someone who just invokes obscure endorsements of Fidel's US sycophants, like Carter and Rather and Matt Damon and so many more.  Could it even be the pastor or a deacon of your church?  If so, stand prepared to call him out on that bullshit.

Beans, bullets, and band-aids, friends.

Yet More Pizzagate

Regrettably, much of the recent stuff on the #pizzagate scandal is more hyperbole than evidence.  So, I'd rather not regurgitate that as new news.  But, I did find this video that highlights more of the perversions surrounding the Podestas and Comet Ping Pong pizzeria.

One of my questions: Does someone out there know these three children mentioned by name in the "handkerchief" email?  And...given the FBI's definitions of that symbolism, has anyone in law enforcement interviewed the originator and respondents of that email regarding the ID's and whereabouts of these children?

I still think the other shoe to drop will come from the NYPD detectives and the tens of thousands of emails that "sickened" them enough to threaten the FBI to forward those emails to wikileaks if the Feds failed to act.

Those of you in and beyond the Land of Livermush, do you not realize how blind tolerance of open homosexuality has engendered their normalization of these perversions?  Informal poll: Did the Lord smite the Sodomites and Gomorrahites over their tax evasion, or their perversions?

EDITED TO ADD: This by Ann Barnhardt (DN = Diabolical Narcissist)-

-As God warns us constantly in Scripture and otherwise – such as the prayer to St. Michael the Archangel, given to us through Pope Leo XIII – the demonic is real, and we are to guard against it.  There are beings “prowling throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls.”  While most DNs are not consciously serving satan, they are consciously looking to hurt other human beings as hard as they can, thus looking to cause a “spiritual death”, even if they don’t explicitly acknowledge what it is they are doing.  If you are aware of a DN, you do have an obligation to warn those directly in his sights of what he is.  For example, a spouse of a DN, or a child of a DN, should warn especially children of sufficient age, or anyone that they see a DN grooming for abuse. This would also apply especially to anyone with a sex pervert (likely a homosexual) in their family.  Remember, ALL homosexuals and aberrosexuals are a CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER TO CHILDREN.  Remember, every person who ever had their children molested by their “gay relative” would have sworn up and down that the sex pervert relative or friend was “harmless” and “would never hurt my kids”.  And yet look at how many people in our culture have been abused and had their lives ruined by the “gay uncle/brother/cousin/family friend”.  Another example might be a coworker that is being groomed and then abused by a DN boss.  Apparently, all three Clintons, Hillary, Bill and now Chelsea, are notorious for abusing staffers to the point of making them suicidal.  Once a DN is identified and acknowledged for what he is, he loses almost all power over a person.

More on Pizzagate

Via David Seaman at Gab.ai -

If you support the Clinton Crime Syndicate, how do you excuse this behavior?  Want to continue pretending that the relationship with child-rapist Epstein has some innocence?

Assuming that still graphic is Comet's logo, what significance are the multiple crescent/stars?  Is it a Moslem child-rape establishment, and does anybody think that makes it okay?

Do I recall correctly that it was the NYPD detectives that first discovered these Podesta emails, before turning them over to the FBI?  And that they were so disgusted that they warned the FBI that if the feds didn't use it, they would?  Or, was it that THESE emails are in addition to those confiscated off the HumaWeiner computer?

What Is Pizzagate?

I figured it was probably silly and harmless.

It is neither.

It is profoundly disturbing.

Anyone not disgusted by this (and these people), including people who tolerate or condone it, are no kin to me.

You're not just different.

You're despicable.

Cheaters

The gubernatorial race in North Carolina can only be close if the left gets away with fraud.  Witness Democrat 'absentee ballot mill' in Bladen County.

Bet that's only the tip of that iceberg.  From the filed evidence:

Upon in-person visual review of mail-in absentee ballots by a forensic handwriting expert, it appears that literally hundreds of fraudulent ballots were cast. These ballots all appear to have been cast in support of a ticket of candidates, but in particular for a write-in candidate for the Bladen County Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisor. Despite the unusually large number of ballots cast for a particular write-in candidate named Franklin Graham, it appears that out of the hundreds of ballots reviewed that voted for Mr. Graham, the handwriting on hundreds of those ballots matches only about a dozen handwriting styles.

Why?

Mike at Cold Fury links to the answer.  I wish I could make quote clips like this.  I suppose it's a limitation of blogspot functionality.  Education welcomed.

You Can Even Claim It Was Your Idea

That is an idea whose time has only once before been more ripe for the picking:

I know this election has been painful for you. Many feel betrayed and even believe yourselves no longer living in the country you thought you were. Reflect on that pain and frustration for a moment. Now recognize how you feel now is how an equally large, possibly larger, number felt for the past eight years. Those who are of a liberty bent feel it all the time, no matter who ends up in office. Reflect on it, feel it, understand it, own it.

Before you get the wrong idea, this is not my attempt at rubbing in your face the loss of your candidate or an endorsement of President-elect Donald Trump. If anything, I share your pain and frustration, just for an entirely different reason. What you’re feeling, this hopelessness, this feeling that you’re no longer represented, this feeling that people other than you are now able to dictate your way of life, this is all a result of the massive expansion of the Federal government. Elections have long ceased being voting for someone you think represents the lifestyle you want to live and are, in practice, an exercise on determining whether or not you get to impose your preferred lifestyle on someone else.

It's a 400HP, 80MPG gas burning internal combustion hot rod, that we'll help you build.  Then, you'll own it all your own selves.

Justin Murray at Mises Institute.

Can't say I agree wholly with the notion of erasing all the internal lines, though.  Thoughts?

Must Read

I defy anyone to produce anything more smartly written and on-target this morning:

All of the rest of the departments are agencies for the enforcement of rules designed by special-interest groups and cartels. If President Trump is really serious about undermining the federal government, he will leave these other positions unfilled for four years. In doing so, he would help de-legitimize each of the departments. All but one should be shut down. Of course, so should the Department of Homeland Security. But it is not possible for a President to shut them down, so he can at least send a message: these departments are irrelevant, and ought to be shut down. No one should be appointed to run any of them. I am speaking of these departments: Agriculture, Education, Transportation, Energy, Health and Human Services, Housing and Urban Development, Labor, Commerce, and Interior. If the budgets for all of these were cut to zero, the nation would be better off.

Read, heed, and disseminate widely, please: Trump Revolution is Over

A Bad Cause

Defended by lies.  Clyde Wilson correcting some popular untruths-

Sherman’s army only seized food on its march because of necessity and in keeping with recognized rules of foraging. A stupendous lie. One does not need to look at a single Southern commentary but only at the words of Sherman and thousands of his men. The expedition was deliberately intended and carried out as a campaign of terrorism against the noncombatant population. The recognized rules of foraging did not involve the wholesale burning of dwellings, schools, and churches, destruction of crops and livestock, theft of everything portable of value, molestation of women, brutality toward old men, boys, and slaves, both male and female. This had been federal practice since the first day of the war but had not been previously as systematized. But, Golly, Sherman should not be criticized for burning Atlanta. He actually destroyed only a third of it!

Forgettable

Daniel Greenfield-

The Obama era ends not with a bang, but with a whimper. With a national consensus that maybe he didn't really matter so much after all. And those to whom he mattered the most were his enemies determined to undo everything he did.

The Obama era is over.  Clean-up on aisle three, Irv.

23

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul; He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil; for Thou art with me; Thy rod, and Thy staff, they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me, in the presence of mine enemies; Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me, all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Posse Control

The Livermush Redoubt Posse is looking for some quality range-time.  Sheila in particular yearns for the space to stretch out her Dragunov's hard target interdiction capabilities to the 800-1200 yard realm.  Expert coaching would be especially well-received.  All the posse take instruction very well.

To the Russian Federation

From the League of the South, this gesture of friendship and respect:

On behalf of traditional Southerners, The League of the South issues this open statement to the Russian Federation and its chief executive, Vladimir Putin, on the subject of US/NATO warmongering in Syria, the greater Middle East, Ukraine, and elsewhere.

We traditional Southerners look upon the people of Russia as fellow Christians who are seeking to protect themselves and their national interests from the corrupt and diabolical forces of globalism. We want no part of a war with the Russian Federation instigated by the USA/NATO alliance, the heart of the globalist cabal.

To us, neither Aleppo nor Kiev, among other places, is worth the risk of nuclear conflagration. We understand that the current crisis in Syria, for instance, is one of the US and NATO’s making.

Amen, I say, with a Rebel yell.

Re/Cross-Posting A Time To Kill

My campfire comrade LT says this is just as timely as it was several years ago, and I couldn't agree more.  Though I might take issue with the parchment, that shouldn't invalidate my endorsement and praise for his dedication to the ideal.  Because nobody loves warriors more than me.

I am reminded of the verse Isaiah 6:8 - Send me, Lord.

A Time to Kill by LT

I am a soldier.  I know what war looks like, what it sounds like, smells like, what it feels like in my soul.

I stand today in the twilight of my nation’s grace, looking into the darkness of impending war.

My sleep is troubled, knowing what awaits, yet the ignorant and the ‘true believers’ sleep easily in their delusions, and I am saddened by it.

Daily, I see the Blackhawk and Apache helicopters flying over my city, the military vehicles which appear so frequently now on our roads, often with ‘guns up’ in violation of Posse Comitatus, and I know why they prepare, that it is not far off.

Nightly I hear the report of gunfire near my home, the noise angry men make as they prepare to boil over.  These are not soldiers – they are but angry men.  And though I share their well-justified anger, I am cautious with them, for they are not disciplined, and they know not the face of war, nor the burdens it imposes upon mind, body, and soul.  Because of this, they are dangerous, and I am saddened by this – that dangerous men should roam the streets near my home, full of anger and the lust for vengeance.

All about me are the ceaseless murmurs of soulless politicians and media propagandists, who wear their agendas on their sleeves as a badge of superiority, and the boundless echoes of their contrived ‘message’ assaults me from all sides, even repeated from the mouths of dear friends, and I am saddened by it.

I bear witness to the fact that throughout my lifetime, the lifeblood of my republic has been drained away by greedy and self-serving men, from high to low, who contrive nought but deception against their neighbors and countrymen, and who fail to consider that their children and mine shall share the same fate, the same future, and I am saddened by it.
[Remainder following the jump...]

We are the betrayers of secrets that never should have been kept. We are the peasants who refuse to give our share of tribute. We are the traders in the black market, the market that forever eludes princely control. We are the ones who, when the martial music starts thumping and the mob is cheering … stop and think."

Royce and Buppert and Trump

Oh my.

I'm currently reading Kenneth W. Royce's Hologram of Liberty, and sincerely wish I could get this book in the hands of every last citizen, regardless how much they believe in and embrace the concept of government.

Royce quotes Ralph Boryszewski's The Constitution That Never Was:
...the Judiciary has managed to unlawfully secure great wealth and power from the very beginning, starting with the Constitutional Convention of 1787.  The American People have gotten an erroneous and distorted version of what actually went on at that convention.  Of the fifty-five men assembled in Philadelphia, a majority of thirty-four were lawyers; these lawyers were working for a constitution and government to serve themselves, not the people.  In 1787, the common people were suspicious of the delegates who had deliberated in secret and who had not provided a Bill of Rights for protection from the powerful national government...[to be] established. (Emphasis KWR)
Exactly like this guy, I didn't sign it, and won't be bound by it.

So, this morning I see that Bill Buppert has re-posted with much timeliness his short fiction Secession in Idaho series, that I think would be very encouraging if I really thought there was a governor in Idaho or anywhere with a backbone and heart full of Liberty.  Worth your time, if for no other reason than to whet your appetite for genuine independence.  A sample:

Go read the first installment; I think you'll like it.

And when James O'Keefe's new sting videos began stinging the empowered, their state media quickly tried to pivot the discussion to put The Donald on defense.  To wit: Given the preponderance of voter fraud exposed by O'Keefe, will you concede the election if the ballot boxes suggest you lost the election?  To his credit, The Donald remained non-committal.  But, I think he could spin it into a landslide...

In Hologram of Liberty, I learned that the Constitution was never ratified by a popular vote of the citizens, except for Rhode Island (who to their eternal credit voted against it 11-1!).  And the North Carolina delegates only agreed to ratify it after being promised a Bill of Rights.  What if, instead of the useless pledge to "ask Congress for a Constitutional Amendment for term limits" (per The Donald's 100-day pledge), Trump decides to take the States who voted for him into secession, adopt the old Articles of Confederation, and set up a referendum to ratify a "replacement" Constitution?

If voting is to mean anything at all, let it mean everything.  The only way to control this leviathan is to quarantine it.  Let Mordor on the Potomac have NYC and Chicago and El Lay and every county that votes for the Secretary of Skank.  Reclaim flyover country for the dirt people.  Declare Independence.

That's pretty much the only way I'll ever get excited about having a "president" again.  But that's easy for me to say, because I seceded years ago.

For Jen

Thanks again for the hospitality and care during my stay at Wake Baptist Resort and Spa.  Except for you and Nicole and Brittany, there wasn't much to write home about.

The following essay is the one I'd referenced, but I'm adding a second that I thinks is just as pertinent.  Image pilfered from WRSA.

From Zero Hedge, The Elite Have No Idea: a sample:
What I find most surprising today is that the insiders and the elite have no idea what is percolating just beneath the surface.  Okay, maybe their arrogance actually produces its own fog, so it should not come as a surprise that they are blinded. They do not look at the calendar, which, if one really looks, says "1788" on it.  Something is close.  Very close.  Society is near the breaking point.

My own experience is that Hillary’s so-called Deplorables are actually the most reserved, most polite, and most honest demographic in the country. They are more informed, more self-reliant, and among other things, better armed.  Regarding their arms, they are incredibly responsible, and not the source of the violence for which the implement, and not the person, is too often blamed.  The Deplorables have the longest fuse.  It is, however, a fuse.

An even more valuable essay, especially I think for anyone living within 5 miles of a Walmart Supercenter and the population supported thereby, would be Bracken's When The Music Stops:

A new social contract has been created, where bread and circuses buy a measure of peace in our minority-populated urban zones. In the era of ubiquitous big-screen cable television, the internet and smart phones, the circus part of the equation is never in doubt as long as the electricity flows. But the bread is highly problematic. Food must be delivered the old-fashioned way: physically. Any disruption in the normal functioning of the EBT system will lead to food riots with a speed that is astonishing. This will inevitably happen when our unsustainable, debt-fueled binge party finally stops, and the music is over. Now that the delivery of free or heavily subsidized food is perceived by tens of millions of Americans to be a basic human right, the cutoff of “their” food money will cause an immediate explosion of rage. When the hunger begins to bite, supermarkets, shops and restaurants will be looted, and initially the media will not condemn the looting. Unfortunately, this initial violence will only be the start of a dangerous escalation.

The ransacked supermarkets, convenience stores, ATMs and gas stations will not be restocked during this period due to the precarious security situation. A single truck loaded with food or gasoline would be perceived to be a Fort Knox on wheels and subject to immediate attack unless heavily protected by powerfully armed security forces, but such forces will not be available during this chaotic period. Under those conditions, resupply to the urban areas cannot and will not take place. The downward spiral of social and economic dysfunction will therefore both accelerate and spread from city to city. These delays, in turn, will lead to more riots with the constant underlying demand that hungry people be fed, one way or another.

Even those of us with foresight and a plan are going to have to get mighty lucky, when the poop hits the propeller.  Those who get surprised, on the other hand, won't stand a chance.  And the only reason for them to be surprised is that they wouldn't listen to those of us who've studied history.

Consider sharing these essays with your friends and co-workers. Recommend also that you bookmark the two sites hosting the linked articles, and make them both part of your daily reading list.

The comments are open, and welcome.

Secede, Each and Everyone

For Jesse James & the Virginia Freemen:

On Pepe & Kek & the Alt Right

This is pretty humorous, though I've not been in much of a laughing disposition lately.

Saw this last week and sat on it, but the timing's about right for this evening's big goat rodeo (which I didn't even know about until a few hours ago).

If you hear anything about the Alt Right tonight, or Pepe, or "deplorables", this is the guy...
And this is the story behind the cartoon frog.

I watched this video in the article, and couldn't stop singing the song.  You're welcome.

Show of hands, who hopes Cankles chokes to death on that frog tonight.?

Unsubscribe Me, Too

"I went to the woods to live deliberately, but the FBI shot and killed my son and my wife." - Randy Henry David Weaver Thoreau.

The folks at the Daily Bell (H/T Bracken) conclude that Comey the Clown should resign.  I firmly believe the whole gang should quit, as there's not a speck of integrity in the FBI.

If there isn't already someone internally cleaning house at the Justice Department or FBI (there isn't, because "bravery" is also in woeful short supply), and Comey does resign, where do you find his replacement?

Update: Also via Bracken, Thomas Lifson at American Thinker.
So with a month left until the election, we now know that James Comey and the FBI took steps to not only cover up their own investigation, they took steps to make sur(e) that future investigators would not have critical evidence.

Go Ahead, Vote At It

You've been listening to FBI director James Comey equivocate over Hillary's guilt/intent, and it's as incredible as it is disgusting.  And sure, you thought perhaps the Clinton Crime Syndicate had "gotten" to him, after witnessing all the lie-ratcheting (see recent Bill Whittle Firewall re-posted below).  But, we all now know that he's long been in the tank for Team Clinton, financially.

That's the Director at the top, a political appointee.  Maybe you even half expect that kind of behavior, or you aren't quite surprised by it.  And you'd like to imagine that such decrepitude exists only at the top, or in the bureaucrat levels, not the field agents, right?

The FBI wouldn't stoop to cold-blooded murder, of an American citizen, would they?  Just because that citizen was critical of the Federal Government?  No.  But when others start paying attention to the critic's message, and especially if that message indicts the land-and-power-grabbing brothers in arms of that FBI, you better bet that they would.  You better bet they'll cover it up and lie about it, too.  Why did Mr. Finicum reach toward his side, if not for a firearm?  Watch and see.  (H/T to Brock at FreeNC)

What, you think the lapdog media will give this analysis any legs?  Cue this certain Aerosmith song (Every time I look in the mirror...)

I imagine that if there was one agent over there with any Fidelity, Bravery, or Integrity, he or she would be culling out the bad apples like Comey and those assassins in Oregon.  Because, fidelity and bravery and integrity don't require orders or authorization.  Is there one?

While the Kabuki election theatre rages on, the Law Enforcement people who you should be able to trust the most, are plotting and executing and covering up the assassination of people who speak out against them, and jailing their associates.  Maybe you think doing your little part for Liberty extends so far as a number 2 pencil and a form on election day, but no farther.

Well, that would just be tough luck for America, huh?

Buppert: Communication Breakdown

New from Bill Buppert on the flow of information.  A sample?  Why not...

Strip the theater and sound and fury of the Kabuki known as American politics and you discover just how much you have surrendered in the process. You have quite literally slipped a leash around your neck, fastened the manacles to your limbs and abide by a contract that let’s your precious government tax, regulate, fine, kidnap, cage, maim or kill you as they wish and you will simply have to be satisfied with whatever condition you and your kin end up in.

"Kin", as defined by Carter's Josey Wales does not necessarily mean blood relatives, but those who fundamentally think and act alike for the most part, but who also will defend each other unconditionally.  If you think they're kin, but they aren't already eager to break their addiction to the matrix, they're no different whatsoever from Lot's wife, looking back on Sodom.

Looking forward to some F2F communicatin' this week. It's always the same...drivin' me insane...

Bracken: Tsunami

It ends a bit awkwardly, but this video is an excellent compilation of some of Matt's recent appearances on Alex Jones' InfoWars.  An absolute "must see".

An Answer to Joe Bob Briggs

Joe Bob,

I know you didn't solicit any correspondence, but here it is anyway.

My first exposure to your very very fine writing was the weekly Focus newspaper's carriage of your Joe Bob Goes to the Drive-In features.  A stack of Focus papers was at the door, and another at the bar, at Ten Years After tavern, where I frequently ruled the pool room and occasionally frammed out some power chords in the Wednesday night blues jam.  That had to be back in the 80's, so I've been a fan for quite a while.

So, my initial reaction to your Taki Mag column, Barney Fife Runs North Carolina is great disappointment.  You're a much, much better writer than I am, but I hope to counter or correct some of your wrong-headed article.  While you're an acknowledged (and well-trained, obviously) professional, I am but a lowly amateur, butchering prose to anybody who'll listen.  Which is usually nobody.

Let's begin with your empathy (cloaked in your twisted concept of "Southern moral values and philosophy") to the transgender-surgery seekers, and the medical nonsense that they were born with an error-gene.  Would you concede the notion that, given the prospect for a federal funding windfall, some "genetic medical researchers" might actually fabricate this "scientific evidence" that you've rubber-stamped in your article?  Is your next article going to beat the drum for settled global warming science?

Am I suggesting that your empathy is invalid?  No, just woefully misapplied.  I think your editor recognized this, and maybe just didn't want to crush that little burgeoning social justice warrior heart.

You're absolutely correct that the ACC pulling events probably hurt North Carolinians more than any of those others, because basketball IS dear to our culture.  Even though I've largely eschewed much of my own need for entertainment, that one stung a bit.  But then, so is the concept of self-determination a real part of our culture, even if it's buried deep within our souls and nearly long-forgotten.

Is the legal definition of bathroom options the hill we want to die on for the sake of Liberty?  No.  But, I'll tell you something you've missed in this: we're mighty sick of just conceding the optics battle for the sake of fighting somewhere better, later on.  You can be as accepting as you wish of those gender-confused misfits, and your New York new-normal homosexuals.  But we'd like some say in what we consider normal, versus what we consider perverted, or abnormal.

I'll go on record to say that I am very much against the notion of legislating the finer points of morality.  I would very much prefer to live and let live.  But, and I've said this time and again, this week's "tolerate us" is next week's "bake our fucking cakes, you haters, or be forced out of business."  If the nation is to be a nation, then the first thing its government has got to do is define (and maintain) its limits, those borders.  Guns pointed outwards.  If my State has any validity at all, it has to have its guns pointed outward too, at those who'd force it to be something it's not, or something to which a tiny minority would have the rest of us accede.  And, that State has to be willing to cut the umbilical to Uncle Sugar (and the centers of debauchery in New York, Chicago, and LA).  I'd rather not even have a governor, but as long as there is one, I'm happy he'll fight the outsiders' insistence on normalizing perversions.  And I'll endorse that kind of fight on any hill.

And so, the thing that's the most wrong-headed of your column, is your willingness to jump on the yankee bandwagon and use our culture, like a cudgel, against us.  Shame on you.  Or, as Gomer would say, "shame, shame, shame."  Here's the clue-bat, Joe Bob: basketball is not the religion of North Carolina, much as that fact may disappoint you.  It is entertainment, and part of our history and culture.  But, our religion is much much deeper than basketball and all the sports, and all the self-righteous music stars and Hollywood celebrities, and all the New York and DC fuck-withs.  And even far more important than the clever Texas writers we thought we loved.

You very well could have shown the hypocrisy of those same big-dollar entertainment associations, like the NCAA's willingness to whore themselves to the far-less sympathetic cultures abroad, no?  But you didn't.  You chose the elitist bandwagon.  The Dook coach has more fans in New Jersey than he has in NC, so please do us the courtesy of not citing him as a standard of "classiness".

Your boycotts and your derision might hurt, financially and emotionally.  We do like the entertainment, and had largely become addicted to it.  But, we'll still have plenty of culture without your dollars, and without Springsteen browbeating us with his faux patriotism.  Feel free to go your own way, Joe Bob.  You are no more a child of the South than that former Arkansas governor who won't go away. Keep your condescending cultural cudgels right the fuck out.  Or, keep 'em coming.  Because eventually more of my neighbors will get fed up with having our noses rubbed in some yankees' preferred cultural standards.

Our culture has gone to shit.  Every effort to staunch the bleeding has failed.  I'd like to know when good intelligent people are of like mind, but it's just as valuable in the long run to know who isn't.  I would have at least expected more intellectual honesty from you, Joe Bob.

I would have just expected better, overall.

One last thing: Aunt Bea doesn't care for you putting words in her mouth or pretending to side with her.  And she doesn't care for your new-normal perversions, either.

Charles Hugh Smith on The Media

The Mainstream Media Bet the Farm on Hillary--and Lost

"The mainstream media has failed: it has failed its sacred duty in a democracy to report the facts and let the voters decide what is or isn't important, it has engaged in orchestrated deception, refusing to report facts that cast a shadow over their chosen candidate, it has failed to cast a skeptical eye on its chosen candidate's actions and private accumulation of wealth, and it has attempted to block legitimate inquiries into Hillary's wealth and health with crass, propagandistic attacks and smear campaigns against anyone who dares question Hillary's MSM-granted "right" to be coronated president in January 2017."

American Pravda.  There are those of us who have been conned, those who've been coerced, and those who've been co-opted.

Let's Crank It Back Up

Embracing the "Endarkenment" was a good thing, but it's time to roll this hot rod out of the shed, kick the tires, check the oil, crank her up, and run some bicyclists in the ditch.

Why?
