Yesterday marked the 1-year anniversary of the Livermush blog.
The genesis of this publication was in my pressure-cooker of internalized aggravation at the way our elected leaders had taken off down a path of self-indulgent policy making at the expense of their constituents.
With last night's election, I can honestly say that I am much more optimistic about the country's future health, than I was a year ago.
Seriously, Scott Brown and the people of Massachusetts didn't just defeat Martha Coakley. They beat SEIU and Black Panther thugs, ACORN-enabled voter fraud, the healthcare reform scam, the global warming scam, the ostrich media, George Soros, and most importantly defeated the advocates of Big Government. The icing on the cake, though? The fact that the Big Zero's endorsement of Coakley pretty much sealed her political fate. How's that neverending campaign working out for you today, O!Bummer?
Not much time to gloat today, though. Got stuff to do...Much love and happiness to all. More blog effort later, methinks.
On behalf of a grateful America, thank you Massachusetts!
Hey Jeff, happy anniversary! (Belated, sorry)
ReplyDeleteI loved it when I heard that O was indeed going to go to Massachusetts and speak for Coakley. I knew then that she wouldn't win. (well, maybe I didn't know, but it really raised my hopes) I hope he continues to campaign for each and every one of the Dems for the next three years. He has that golden touch, for conservatives anyway. :)
Again, congratulations!
Thanks, Pup! I do appreciate you coming around, and commenting.
ReplyDeleteI'll try to post more, and soon, but I've actually been fortunate enough to get some paying work...woohoo.
