Almost to a man, both the 58's and the non-political offenders were hardworking family people capable of manifesting valor only in lawful ways, on the orders of and the approval of the higher-ups. -Alexander Solzhenitsyn

And How WE Will Burn
This blogger is currently reading The Gulag Archipelago by Alexander Solzhenitsyn, abridged version. New masthead above is from Chapter 14 of Part III. It seems impossible that anyone could read this thing continuously, without stepping away for a breath or two, and not go bleeding out your eyeballs mad.
And it's not like I was completely oblivious to the Soviet Gulags. I thought I knew. Solzhenitsyn hits the reader in gut with detailed reality on every page, and there's no such thing as comic relief anywhere therein. Unflinching observation of stark brutality in the harshest light.
An ideology eclipsed the essence of God-fearing humanity, and tens of millions of humans were exterminated. That same ideology manifested itself in Mao's China, the Khmer Rouge's Cambodia, Castro's Cuba, and North Korea, most notably. All, not coincidentally, persisting in the same tactics of persuasion by incarceration, starvation, and death.
How unlikely, then, is it that our own metastasizing infestation of Cultural Marxism in Europe and here in America, does not feel comfortable with the same tactics? That is, is there any reason to think our elite Yankee "betters" in New England and the left coast could be that evil? They don't consider those of us in the hinterlands and flyover country deplorable, do they? The Cultural Marxists in the media and academia have not yet resorted to labeling each and every dissenting opinion as "hate speech", have they? They haven't yet dug in, tighter than ticks, to bureaucratic roles in the respective state and federal machinery, have they?
What if "they", these evolved descendants of Marxism and Communism, already control the levers of authority? Are they not capable of herding their opposition onto those Ships of the Archipelago, torturing, starving, and killing them? What if they decided they didn't even need to imprison them, but just starve & poison them?
What if they already are?

He calls it "victim porn", and that's very accurate. But, another reason it's such a thing in America is because the Cultural Marxists must destroy western civilization.
And you can't destroy western civilization without marginalizing Christianity. Normalize perversion while simultaneously perverting the normal.
God didn't smite Sodom for them being tax evaders.
And folks who can't turn their backs on those perverts and their perverted agendas might consider the fate of Lot's wife.
Remember.

Not On Board With NAP Time
There's a lot to like about Voluntaryism, I think. In a nutshell, don't initiate violence against someone who hasn't initiated violence against you, yourself. Admirable, indeed. It seems also, however, that most Non-Aggression Principle advocates don't endorse any use of force against the threat of violence. And that's where our paths must necessarily diverge. From this morning's twitter feed, comes mockery of a guy who thought meeting a threat where it breeds is, in essence, a good thing:
On GAB (which is way better than Twitter in every way that matters), though, unsettling images of passive non-aggression:
A good while back, I had a twitter-exchange with a popular tweeter, Been Stoned, who posed the question directly to me, "If I decided to hire a foreigner or homosexual, would you be opposed?"
Well, you only get 140 characters per tweet, so my short answer was easily, "yes." Which, of course, made it necessary for him to twitter-block me. I've not hardly been able to sleep since, but a more thorough response I might have afforded him, given more characters or time before blockage, could go something like this:
If you're hiring Freddie Mercury or Freddy Fender to sing in your pub, and their presence is transient, then my objection is whimsical. Mildly sarcastic, at worst. If you're "hiring" 10,000 moslem migrant "youths" to infiltrate the public school system one county over, my objection gets a lot more, shall we say, serious.
The communists and their henchmen one-worlders always seem to couch their what-ifs in such benign sheep's-clothing. And I ain't falling for it.

Good & Bad
There really are good people and there really are bad people. And sometimes you find the former and the latter, each, in the very places you wouldn't expect. Case in point:
An impeccably moral and devout young man named Patrick-Jim Harris was detained, questioned and expelled from Mexico over the weekend. His nickname is “Saint.” He is from Texas. They put him on a plane to Seattle. He is a graduate student at Saint Edwards University in Austin. He was in Mexico with a self-described physician, comedian, social activist, clown, and author named Hunter Doherty “Patch” Adams who was the subject of a 1998, PG-13 rated movie starring Robin Williams. The sentimental film would have been rated as appropriate for little children except that it is set in a hospital and many of the characters die. In real life, the 71-year-old Adams is the founder of the Gesundheit! Institute which espouses non-traditional medical treatment including the idea that laughter can help people heal.

For the Millenials
Especially the three to whom I am most closely related.
Pick truth.
Else, why bother with "education".
The culture requires revivification. The alternative is full of gulags and puppet strings. Choose wisely, please.

Meme-A-Rama
Other things recently ranking higher on the must-do list, I haven't had much time or energy for bloggage. Let's just scatter a bunch of Twitterverse memes around, and see how that plays.
Much of my aforementioned energy drain is due to an ongoingdebate exchange with one of these:
But somewhere this side of your feelz, might lurk a nugget of truth...
If you think playing this board game is no fun, wait til you get a hold of the train ride and "dance hall" that's in store for those not much interested in playing...
Let's just call it addition by subtraction...
If they had much of a voice, those actual tiny humans in the womb, would likely voice their preference for this guy to the Kenyan. They'd all prefer to be born, I think, too...

Doug Mainwaring on the Vast Hidden Evil
This is the evil that the Left embraces, and not the least bit trivial. The civil war has already long started, the cold war portion. And the opposition thought they'd sewn it all up. So the reactions we're seeing from the likes of Shia Labeuf, Ashley Judd, Meryl Streep, ad nauseum, represent just the hysteria of their feelz. The actual mechanism is greater and worse. Obama was to be their prophet, and Hillary following as their cudgel.
And...
I got to the part where he said, "That was the moment I, as a the father of biracial children, then living as a gay man..." and began skeptically reading the remainder of the article. But, all the rest was spot on. So, I went back and clicked the "gay man" link.
If you don't read anything else this week, read this, including especially the "gay man" link.

Right & wrong, good & evil. Darn right it's a war.
"This was the first time a United States president referred to a man as a she and her and nobody laughed. Nobody in the press room dared laugh. The gathered erudite, the urbane, the sophisticated sat silent."
And...
"The man, Barack Hussein Obama, favored allowing children to die. Alone. On a cold metal tray. In a closet. Where no whimper might be heard. Yet we elected him president. His race provided cover for evil to ascend."

The Blueprint
"...which they've been following for decades." Echoes my sentiment that none of this, that has happened or that is happening, is any kind of coinky-dink.
From a comment at WRSA, Mike Adams, the health ranger. I just plain fucking loved this video.
Control is everything to them, because they can't win in the marketplace of ideas. In every case, their ultimate argument is, "shut up!" From the same gang that, as the narrator says, is just simply wrong about everything.
I'm gonna hang out over at Forward Observer, with my popcorn.

Harsh But True
Government insurance and healthcare will never be as cheap or valuable as a genuine free market system for one reason: It's the math, Stupid.
Market Ticker - Why We're Doomed
Mr. Denninger uses birth control as an example: "(T)he fact remains that they work and are the choice of birth control that millions of women make. By doing so under the "current system" those millions of women are getting screwed out of billions of dollars and forcibly screwing everyone else at the same time."(emphasis in original)
That's what birth-control is supposed to facilitate: screwing and getting screwed. But, the good news should be that America actually has laws currently in place that thwart that screwing in the healthcare industry, the same as in other industry.
And the reason the FedGuv does NOT enforce 15USCode to shut down these monopolies is that by allowing (and colluding with) them, the state-apparatus magnify and solidify their power, which is what government "healthcare" is, and has ever been, all about, anyway. And this is, once again, why the rule of law is dead in America.
Will the Trump administration stem the tide? He or his healthcare advisor (or better yet, the Justice Department) need only read this and act accordingly. Of course, just like the potential for prosecuting Hillary, the ClintonCrimeFam, and the pedophile-Podesta-conglomerate, those cancerous tentacles of BigGuv power are so deeply insinuated, the cancer itself will certainly react with much violence.
I'm not holding my breath.
Please read the whole thing.

"Roughly one dollar in five spent today in the United States goes toward health care. This is double what other developed, industrial nations spend and virtually all of them have socialist health care systems. Capitalism always beats socialism because capitalism adds the motive to undercut your competitor(s) on price along with developing new means of efficiency that lower your cost, allowing you to earn the same margin while charging less money. It is this motivation that has led to $200 TVs that weight 25% as much, use a fifth of the energy and have four times the resolution of a TV set 20 years ago that cost $800. It is this motivation that has led to the development of $35 computers the size of a pack of cigarettes that are 200 times faster and have more than 1,000 times the memory of a $2,500 computer sold in the 1980s. It is this motivation that has led to the development of $50 cellphones you can hold in your hand, have a $30/month "all you can talk" bill and run a week on a charge with 30 minutes of talking a day. The same capability used to require a device the size of a small briefcase that cost $1,000, it weighed 20 pounds, had a battery that was good for an hour of talk time and cost $2/minute to send or receive a call."

During my recent incarceration in the WakeyMed whorespittle, prior to the big dig, they asked me if I knew just what my procedure was to entail. I said, "Sure, you're going in to retrieve that missing thumb-drive with even more emails implicating the ClintonCrimeFamily."

George Webb & Herschel's Dictum
As Herschel wrote in a comment over at WRSA recently, the mass of organized corruption and perversions (#PizzaGate, the deep state, compromised generals, judges, and politicians, and those cancerous tentacles of TCF) are an iceberg, such that the bulk of the thing is still way below the surface, unseen, and too big to effectively measure. I'm a fan of Herschel's (and David Seaman's & George Webb's) continued drilling and placement of high explosives into that iceberg, and think we should all be encouraging and supporting their efforts.
Herschel: "In the first video I link, George clearly says that he is receiving FBI help. I had suspected so from the outset. This lends credence to the idea that there are some patriots left inside the U.S. government, and that there is a war going on within the intelligence community."
Either we're going to blow their iceberg to pieces, or they're going to blow up ours (civilization).
Reposting both of those videos, just because...
Herschel’s dictum: “There aren’t too many human interaction problems that can’t be fixed with a .45 ACP 230-grain fat-boy.”
Yep.
The Captain's Journal, part of your everyday reading, ya?

Tom Price, HHS, and AAPS
Until we have zero government, I'll be very much in favor of any part thereof seeking to limit itself. The worst part of the current regime is its infection of everyone's personal affairs through the "healthcare" industry. Anyone willing to grab the reins and holler "whoa, now" is better than the status quo.
Potentially very encouraging news (via NeedToKnow) if you're sick (pardon the pun) of mandated vaccinations. Tom Price, Trump's pick for secretary of HHS, according to Natural News, "has some doubts about vaccine safety himself, and righteously so."
Y'all should have heard some of the righteous indignation from many of those nurses charged with my care during the recent 15-night whore-spittle stay, when I rejected things like the flu shot! And high blood-pressure medication.
The linked article references Association of American Physicians & Surgeons, linking also to this encouraging article: Trump, the Media, and Obamacare.
The article asks "why should vaccines be any different?" Well, the difference I keep coming back to is that vaccines are made by pharmaceutical companies whose stock is often owned by those same "healthcare professionals" who are prescribing and advocating those vaccines. Am I the only one who sees that as a conflict of interest?
Am I the only one who rues the knee-jerk reaction to generalize every patient's treatment into a witches' brew of medications? Or the pass-the-buck mentality of maybe 80% of the current healthcare industry?
I don't think so. I may insist on AAPS membership as a requirement for anyone doctoring on me in the future.

Sharing, Subscribing, & Liking
Jeff Rense interview video with Matt Bracken:
"...a reincarnation of Reagan with Jefferson's brain couldn't fix this train-wreck."
The fragile electrical grid goes down, and two weeks later: cannibalism.
And I believe that this is when FEMA comes out of the shadows with "help", offering to feed everyone who will just turn in their firearms. Isn't that how the US federal government disarmed and subdued the native Americans?

How Bad Do You Want It?
We watched the movie Greater a few nights ago, and would like to heartily recommend it. Although some elements are a bit more sentimental than necessary, it beautifully depicts the wholesome story of how a young man, through faith and determination, exceeds all expected limitations.
Indiewire says he was "taken from this world far too soon" (which is certainly true) but "just before he was about to make a difference." I bet you would be hard pressed to find anyone who knew him who might suggest he was yet to make a difference. In their lives, at least.
And the lesson transcends football. No social programs, no 5-star credentials, and no "crip" courses necessary. Just equal measures of faith and determination. The kind of man, and the kind of film, that'll make you want to be a better person.
